Project Synopsis

It is an AI-powered, all-in-one talent acquisition (TA) management platform designed to automate and optimize the entire recruitment process for agencies and employers. The primary goal was to make hiring effortless and strategic by leveraging advanced natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and conversational AI to handle tasks such as candidate sourcing, CV evaluation, workflow automation, and real-time communication.

Objective

The project aimed to deliver: An integrated system capable of tracking recruitment behaviors, scheduling, and administrative activities. An intelligent ATS and reporting solution supporting both recruiters and hiring managers. An NLP-powered conversational assistant for passive candidate engagement, CV parsing, and matchmaking through voice and text interfaces.

Key Features

NLP Integration and Methodology

During the project development, the core focus was on integrating NLP capabilities to: Enable the conversational AI to extract intent from recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates, using statistical and rules-based techniques. Automate CV evaluation, ranking, and talent pool management—making data-driven hiring decisions faster. Implement multi-language support and natural voice interaction across platforms such as Alexa, Google Home, Skype, and Cortana. Deep learning models and supervised machine learning algorithms were used, regularly monitored and enhanced for accuracy by expert data scientists.

Outcome

Outcomes and Impact Recruitment agencies reported significant increases in speed and hiring quality, reduced administrative overhead, and a more strategic TA approach. Recruiters had more bandwidth for high-value engagement with hiring managers and candidates, leading to improved performance and culture. The NLP integration empowered iona to adapt to diverse workflows, quickly unlocking hidden candidate potential and facilitating AI-driven matchmaking.

Conclusion

The six-month project established iona as a robust, NLP-integrated TA solution, automating recruitment, enhancing decision-making, and driving innovation in hiring practices. The platform continues to evolve through ongoing research and client collaboration, leading to a more effortless and effective hiring experience for all stakeholder

It is a management level hiring portal with bidding and messaging features. Candidates can create profile and import profile from Linked-in. Employers can create company profile and view available profile for hiring. Employer can bid on profiles to hire candidates. There are multiple stages of hiring all of them are being managed on website.
